World App Privacy Policy

The following document sets forth the Privacy Policy for the Norwood Systems Apps, including World Voicemail, World Phone, World Message, World Wi-Fi, and World Secure (“The Apps”). Norwood Systems (“The Company”) is committed to providing you with the best possible customer service experience. We may access, disclose and preserve personal data, including your private content when we have a good faith belief that doing so is necessary to: comply with applicable law or respond to valid legal processes from competent authorities, including from law enforcement or other government agencies; protect our customers, for example, to prevent spam or attempts to defraud our users, or to help prevent the loss of life or serious injury of anyone; operate and maintain the security of our Apps, products and services, including to prevent or stop an attack on our computer systems or networks; or protect our rights or property including enforcing the terms governing the use of our Apps, products or services. There are many aspects of The Apps that can be viewed without providing personal information, however, for access to customer support features, you are required to submit personally identifiable information. This may include but is not limited to a unique username and password, and provision of sensitive information in the recovery of your password, if lost.
Sharing of your personal information
We may occasionally hire other companies to provide services on our behalf, including but not limited to handling customer support enquiries, processing transactions or customer freight shipping. Those companies will be permitted to obtain only the personal information they need to deliver the service. The Company takes reasonable steps to ensure that these organisations are bound by confidentiality and privacy obligations in relation to the protection of your personal information.
Use of your personal information
For each user of Norwood Systems’ Apps, we expressly collect personal information, including but not limited to, messages received on a Norwood Systems application, IP address, your smartphone handset brand and model type, relevant fixed and mobile numbers associated with your Norwood Systems’ end-user account.
With explicit customer permission, we may collect contact list information for the sole purpose of providing or improving app features.
From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future we will use them for these new purposes only, data collected from the time of the policy change forward will adhere to our updated practices.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
The Company reserves the right to make amendments to this Privacy Policy at any time. If you have objections to the Privacy Policy, you should not access or use the Apps.
Accessing Your Personal Information
You have a right to access your personal information, subject to exceptions allowed by law. If you would like to do so, please let us know. You may be required to put your request in writing for security reasons. The Company reserves the right to charge a fee for searching for, and providing access to, your information on a per request basis.
